Pieter Mulier, the departing creative force behind Alaïa and a trusted longtime collaborator of Prada co-creative director Raf Simons, has been named the new design lead for Versace, according to an official confirmation from the Prada Group.

He will assume responsibility for reinvigorating the iconic Italian house, recently added to the Group’s portfolio, following the departure of Dario Vitale in December.

The appointment signals a strategic move toward a refined yet forward-looking creative direction as Prada Group seeks to elevate Versace’s global prestige.
